Congratulations to photographer Lee Robinson on publication of his book 'Wexford in Lockdown', documenting life in Wexford over the last few months. A few of the band made it into it!
The book is available in the Wexford Book Centre, Westgate Design, Selskar Book Shop, Red Books, Boggans, UfuCoffee, Franks Płace and Doyles Newsagents.
Lee played cornet with the band for many years, including when the band were All-Ireland Champions in 1996.
Muirinn Carty who plays cornet in the Loch Garman Youth Band has been awarded a bursary with the National Youth Film School. Muirinn was one of eight young filmmakers chosen nationally for this bursary from Screen Ireland. Congratulations Muirinn!
Following recent concerts in Enniscorthy and Wexford the band continue their Christmas programme with performances in Clonard Church this Saturday 21st at 6pm and in Rowe St Church on Saturday 28th also at 6pm!

Christmas Concert in aid of Wexford Mental Health Association at 4pm in St Marys Church Enniscorthy featuring The Loch Garman Band, Enniscorthy Choral Society, Co Wexford Youth Orchestra, David O Connor, Inner Harmony and The Session Sisters
The Loch Garman Band, led by musical director John Clancy will perform at mass in Rowe St Church on Sat 23 Feb at 6pm.
Our selected programme features soloists Anthony Nolan (cornet) and Sean Clancy (euphonium), and music of Lovlland & Graham, Philip Sparke, G.F. Handel, Grieg and Mozart.
The performance includes some members of the Loch Garman Youth Band.
The Loch Garman Band led by Musical Director John Clancy will perform at a remembrance mass for deceased members in Rowe Street Church on Sunday 28th Oct at 12 noon.
Our selected programme with soloists Anthony Nolan (Cornet), Sean Clancy (Euphonium) features music of Jessie Seymour Irvine, Handel, Karl Jenkins and Elgar.
The Harvest Thanksgiving Family Service took place on Sun 7th in St Iberius Church.
As ever the Service, focused on youth and following the practice for some years now, the youths of the Loch Garman Band accompanied the congregational hymns and concluded the service with a special arrangement of Clarkes "Trumpet Voluntary" .
